CHRISTMAS

SeptemBER,OctoBER, NovemBER, DECEMBER!! BER, BER, BER and BER! They say when "BER" starts, it means Christmas is near! Yeah! Christmas really is near!(: CHRISTMAS is a world wide holiday celebrated annually on December 25, in commemoration of Jesus Christ birth, it is the most anticipated feast of the year where almost all people celebrates like there's no other. actually this is the month which reunites one another and the times where kids were the happiest person they think they are! visiting ninongs and ninangs is an exciting thing kids do during Christmas where they always thought about Christmas gifts that they'll be receiving. when I was a kid I always receive gifts from my ninang, she sometimes give me money and sometimes t hings and that I felt really very happy those times. I even cried one time when all of my family members had a gift from our neighbor except for me HAHA! sounds funny but its true. I was even the one who delivered those package in our home but unfortunately there's nothing for me there.HAHA! anyway..it's better to give than to receive(: Christmas is a time where some family spent money to have something delicious foods to be prepared on their table. I know many mothers got so busy buying ingredients which they'll be needing in cooking foods. And as for the others many saves money for them to have something to buy gifts to their family, friends, relatives, loved ones or to some others out there! Supermarkets and malls are surely crowded by those people shopping things who are probably looking for a cheaper, adorable and worth buying things that they could ever give.

There are many things people usually do for the preparation for Christmas.. traditions never fade where all of us adopt it generations to generation.. Decoration of houses is the top one people loved to do. Usually people starts decorating three months before December or even two months before,it depends to them. Displaying of candy canes, hanging of wreaths and lanterns are the things people normally do for Christmas. And ohh! decorating of Christmas tree too! Many of us loved to display Christmas trees!, decorating it with family is also a normal thing to us,it serves as a bonding time with family and a way of expressing what they feel or it is their way of welcoming Jesus Christ in their home. and who would ever forget the hanging of Christmas stockings? I know many of us experienced this,we even made a wish list with our moms and dads then putting it inside the stockings hopping for Santa clause to come and gave us what we've written. Then later on, we will find out that.....oOOps!dad is fooling me! he's the Santa Claus!...

Sending of Christmas card exchanging of greetings, giving and receiving of presents are the common things people do during this season. Midnight masses are done also where many of us wake up early in the morning to attend masses which was so called "SIMBANG GABI",that starts 10 days before Christmas day.Celebrating Christmas is meaningful and memorable when family are present and complete, abundance of food may not be important as long as they're beside us. Christmas eve is the time we gather and is what we are waiting for! It is also known as "NOCHE BUENA" where it is like an open house celebration where friends, relatives and neighbors are welcome. Wishing them a Merry Christmas is very much appreciated. Christmas party, reunion or family gathering for some other people is what makes them busy i which "manito" and "manita" is famous, there are also fireworks display where everybody loves to see.

Christmas is a time for thanksgiving and for all of us to be united. We must not forget those people who don't have anything, like to those people who are playing, staying and sleeping beside the street. It's sad to think they're working very hard for them just to have something to eat but it is more heart-breaking knowing they don't have a rest day and they really cannot rest even when they're

ill because if they do...what's for their breakfast? Lunch and dinner? How about their families? Well come to think of it. We must not think for ourselves only,Sometimes you have to share also what you have. Some of us cannot relate what they're feeling. So..just respect and help them in any other simple way, we all know simple deeds mean everything to them. Since Christmas is a time for thanks giving, just grab the opportunity to share the blessings you have. Many organizations and schools organizes a program to help those people who are in need with their sincerity to share what they have...feeding program, Christmas party and what so ever is very helpful, this kind of deeds are also observed which helps those people feel great!

This special day which we call CHRISTMAS DAY is not only about having fun for our own happiness. It is the celebration of the birth of our savior Jesus Christ where we shouldn't miss greeting Him a Happy birthday, including Him in our prayers or even remembering Him on that day because forgetting him is like attending a birthday party without even knowing who's special day was it. Make sense? Well... Just share what you have for Jesus gave us everything for us to share every little things we have.(:
